Job Summary:
As a Business Development Manager at Sai CPA Services, your primary goal is to build a sales pipeline (Sales Qualified Leads) by scheduling early meetings with senior decision-makers at key companies. you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our client base. This position involves identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and contributing to the overall success and reputation of the firm. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the professional services industry, particularly in the realm of accounting and financial services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and networking within the target market. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients.
- Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs and challenges and pitch our CPA firm as the best option for their financial services.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement effective business development strategies. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to find potential growth opportunities.
- Proposal Development: Create engaging proposals and presentations that are suited to the requirements of prospective clients. Work closely with the firm’s subject matter experts to ensure that all customer requirements are met.
- Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and changes in the business landscape. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and anticipate client needs.
- Networking and Events: Represent the company in industry events, conferences, and networking activities. Develop a strong professional network in the business community to increase the firm’s visibility.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including partners, accountants, and other business development professionals, to maximize knowledge and meet company objectives.
Job Specifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven 2+ years’ experience in business development within a CPA firm or professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
