Responsibilities

  • Performs general accounting and other related duties in the accounting department.
  • Prepares periodic (monthly) balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
  • Analysis of financial information and preparation of financial reports.
  • Accounting assistance, functions leading to and preparation of tax returns and financial statements.
  • Processing of accounts payables & accounts receivables.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks.
  • Strong accounting skills with knowledge of Debits & Credits.
  • Proficient with Word, PowerPoint presentations are a plus.
  • Knowledge & Hands-on experience in a payroll process with multi-state registrations is a plus.
  • Able to speak in Hindi with the clients is a plus.

    Qualifications

  • Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen.
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP).
  • BSc/Ba in accounting, finance, or relevant field.
  • 2+ years of general accounting clerical experience.
  • Experience in a CPA firm is plus.
