Responsibilities
- Performs general accounting and other related duties in the accounting department.
- Prepares periodic (monthly) balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
- Analysis of financial information and preparation of financial reports.
- Accounting assistance, functions leading to and preparation of tax returns and financial statements.
- Processing of accounts payables & accounts receivables.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks.
- Strong accounting skills with knowledge of Debits & Credits.
- Proficient with Word, PowerPoint presentations are a plus.
- Knowledge & Hands-on experience in a payroll process with multi-state registrations is a plus.
- Able to speak in Hindi with the clients is a plus.
Qualifications
- Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen.
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP).
- BSc/Ba in accounting, finance, or relevant field.
- 2+ years of general accounting clerical experience.
- Experience in a CPA firm is plus.
